Sharp & Co. Barbers: where customers slip away, and the 30-day plan to fix it
Sample deliverable · made-up business · imagined starting pointThe short version
People who hear about Sharp & Co. look you up before they book. Right now they find a shop that looks closed online: an Instagram that went quiet in the summer, a Google listing with old hours, and no way to book without calling while you're mid-cut.
The good news: the work itself is strong, and the fixes are quick. Most of the gains come from three changes in the first two weeks.

Fix firstBooking: customers can only call
What we saw
The only way to book is a phone call. Calls come in while every chair is busy, so they ring out, and most people don't leave a voicemail. They book the next shop instead.
What we recommend
Add online booking with real time slots, and put a "Book now" button on Instagram, Google and the website. Keep walk-ins, just show them clearly.
Fix firstGoogle listing: old hours and few photos
What we saw
Sunday hours are missing, the last photo is from last year, and there's no booking link. Many people find a barber by searching "barber near me" on Google, so this listing often makes the first impression.
What we recommend
Correct the hours, add 15 fresh photos of real cuts and the shop, add the booking link, and post one update a week.
Fix firstInstagram: quiet since summer
What we saw
The last post is 14 weeks old. The bio has no booking link and no location. The cuts in the older posts are great, but the photos are dark and taken from different angles, so the feed doesn't show off the work.
What we recommend
A simple, repeatable plan: 3 posts a week, mostly short before-and-after videos filmed in the same spot with the same light. Bio with neighborhood, hours and a booking link.
ImproveWebsite: fine on desktop, slow on phones
What we saw
Most visitors are on phones, and the site takes too long to load on mobile data. The phone number isn't tappable and prices are in a photo of the menu board, so they can't be read easily.
What we recommend
A fast, phone-first page with a tappable phone number, a real price list, and the booking button always in reach.
ImproveBrand: three different logos in use
What we saw
The sign, the Instagram picture and the business cards each use a different logo and color. People don't connect them as one shop.
What we recommend
Pick one logo and two colors and use them everywhere: profile pictures, posts, website, cards and the window.
Keep doingReviews: happy regulars, no system yet
What we saw
Regulars clearly love the shop, but reviews only come in when someone remembers to leave one.
What we recommend
A small card at the mirror with a QR code to the Google review page, and a friendly text the day after a first visit. Ask every new client, never pay for reviews.
Your top 3 priorities
Turn on online booking
Stop losing the customers who call while you're cutting. Put the booking link everywhere people find you.
Fix the Google listing
Right hours, fresh photos and a booking button on the page many people see first.
Restart Instagram with a plan you can keep
Three short videos a week, filmed the same way, so the feed sells the work for you.
The 30-day plan
Check items off as you go. (On this sample, your checks stay on this page only.)

How we'll know it's working
| What we measure | Where it comes from | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Online bookings per week | Booking system | The clearest sign the fixes are paying off |
| Calls and direction requests | Google listing | Shows how many people found you and acted |
| Profile visits and link taps | Tells us which posts send people to book | |
| New Google reviews | Google listing | Trust for the next new customer |
